George Bloomfield is a Brighton-based artist, producer, and film composer whose warm blend of indie, jazz, and soul invites listeners into richly textured soundscapes full of emotion, nostalgia, and cinematic storytelling. Drawing comparisons to artists like Khruangbin and Mac DeMarco George’s music is both sonically adventurous and deeply personal.

George has steadily built a name for himself with a series of well-received EPs, leading to the release of his debut album 'Now & Then' in 2025. His songs have earned support from BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio 2, and Selector Radio, and he’s amassed over 4 million Spotify streams to date. A viral moment with his track As Summer Comes—which reached #7 in the UK Instagram Reels Chart—brought a fresh wave of attention to his growing catalogue.

His debut album Now & Then—a powerful and introspective project written during a solo creative retreat in the French Alps. The album explores themes of grief, friendship, love, and the passing of time, much of it inspired by the loss of his best friend and musical collaborator, Ed, in 2020. Their story is also the subject of an upcoming music-laced documentary, More Than Just A Van, funded by Youth Music and Leeds City Council.

As a live performer, George brings his music to life with a dynamic 7-piece band, having appeared at The Great Escape Festival, Live at Leeds, Leeds Jazz Festival, and supported acts like Glass Beams. He also continues to expand his visual world—thanks to support from Arts Council England—through collage artwork, music videos, and experimental short films.
